You can book your tickets now via The Essex Mason. The cost is £110 per person but hopefully you will agree that it represents excellent value for money, covering the cost of a four course meal, pre dinner champagne reception, wines at the table and a complimentary after dinner bar serving beers, wines and soft drinks.
Simply telephone 01206 500270 to pay by credit card or download the booking form and send to the address on the booking form along with your cheque. Please remember to state your seating preferance.
With a 1,000 guests expected to attend and because space is limited, the Festival 2011 organisers have planned everything to ensure that the evening is extra special for everyone by looking at both the needs of individual masons and of Lodges that may wish to attend as larger groups.
Dining will take place in two locations within the Guildhall- the Great Hall will be set in traditional state banquet style where guests are seated at long banquet tables - and in the historic crypt where guests will dine at round tables of 12.
You can choose which style suits you or your party but understandably this will be strictly subject to availability on a first come basis.
Both rooms will be linked by advanced audio visual screens so no one will miss any of the proceedings or atmosphere of being present on the night and following the formalities and dinner all of our guests will join together for dancing in The Old Library.
It must be emphasised that every effort will be made to seat brethren in their preferred locations but this will be subject to availability. Places will be made available strictly on a first come basis.
